a.) Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas
Written by Shiori Teshirogi and animated by TMS Entertainment, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas was success in Japan. Reaching up to 6,7 million copies solded. The story takes place in the 18th century, 250 years before the main series. The series focuses on 3 childhood friends, Pegasus Tenma, Athena Sasha, against Hades Alone.

b. ) Saint Seiya the Hades Chapter
Devided into 3 parts, Sanctuary, Inferno and Elysion. Saint Seiya the Hades Chapter took place after the Poseidon Arc. Seiya and other Saints are fighting against Hades in the Underworld.

c.) Saint Seiya Omega
Saint Seiya Omega was a TV series animated by Toei Animation in 2012. The story is about the next generation of the original Saints. With the MC named Pegasus Koga, he's the successor of Seiya's Pegasus Cloth, because he was promoted to the Sagittarius Gold Saint.
d.) Saintia Sho
This Saint Seiya spinoff is a bit different from the others. Written and ilustrated by Chimaki Kuori, Saintia Sho is the only Saint Seiya series with a girl MC. Her name is Equuleus Shoko, with the nickname "Sho". This series was aired from August 2013 - July 2021. And the story took place on season 1-4 of the main series.

The main series of Saint Seiya was aired on TV Asahi from 1986-1989 and contains of total 114 episodes. With the total of 3 arcs: Sanctuary Arc, Asgard Arc, Poseidon Arc. And 6 seasons.

Background Story
Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun and Ikki was an orphan that lived in an orphanage under Graad Foundation of the Kido Family. That was led by Mitsumasa Kido (and now is inherited to his granddaughter, Saori Kido, which is also the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena). Childern who have the potential to become Bronze Saints (the lowest level of Saints) was sent to certain places to train and get their Clothes. Seika, Seiya's big sister went missing when she went to catch him up to his training place in Greece. After he got his Cloth, Seiya was determined to find her.
a.) Sanctuary Arc (Season 1- 4)
This season focuses on 4 main story parts:
1. Galaxian Wars
Bronze Saints from the Graad orphanage who succesfully gain their Clothes came back to Japan to participate on a tournament held by Saori Kido called "Galaxian Wars" to win the Sagittarius Gold Cloth (Gold Saints are the highest rank of a Saint). But mid-tournament, the clothes was stolen by a group of Saints called "the Black Saints" led by Phoenix Ikki. They succesfully get the helmet part back, but the rest was stolen by traitor Saints from Sanctuary.
2. Silver Saint
The Sanctuary sent Silver Saints to steal the remaining helmet part of the Sagittarius Cloth.
3. Pre-Sanctuary
Saori gets kidnapped by the Silver Saints but then Seiya saved her. On his recovery, the Leo Gold Saint, Aiolia attacks him to take the Sagittarius Cloth which happens to be his late brother's. But the Cloth choose to protect Seiya. Before Aiolia and Shaina (one of the Silver Saints) gets back to Sanctuary, he told Seiya to protect Saori and the Gold Cloth. Before they gets to Sanctuary, a magical arrow shoots Saori.

4. 12 Houses of Sanctuary
Seiya and his friends went to fight the 12 Gold Saints from the 12 Zodiacs. In order to save Saori and stops the Evil Pope who is the Gemini Gold Saint, Saga, who betrayed Athena.
b.) Asgard Arc (Season 5)
The Bronze Saints who are in Asgard fought Odin's soldier called the God Warriors. In order to save the ruler of the land and Odin's representation, Hilda, that is under the hypnotize of the Nibelugen Ring. To prevent the Asgard to melt down without her protection.

c.) Poseidon Arc (Season 6)
The Bronze Saints fought Poseidon, the God of Sea who captured Athena and locked her in a pillar, filling it with water. The Bronze Saints needs to destroy the 7 pillars of Atlantis
from the 7 oceans in order to save her.

The story is about mythical warriors called "Saints" who fought with a magical armor called "Cloth" that is named after the 88 constellations, such as Pegasus, Dragon (Draco), Phoenix, Cygnus, Andromeda etc. And their duty is to protect and accompany The Goddes of Wisdom, Athena, on her battles againts threats for the earth.
The main characters of the original story includes these 5 Bronze Saints:
1. Pegasus Seiya
2. Dragon Shiryu
3. Cygnus Hyoga
4. Andromeda Shun
5. Phoenix Ikki
Saint Seiya also have few OVAs, spinoffs, movies, remakes and live action until today.
